1. Service Description

Captain Cut is an Adobe Premiere Pro plugin that provides AI-powered silence detection and removal. The plugin requires an active subscription and license key to operate.

2. Account & License

• Each license key may be activated on one machine at a time.
• You may deactivate and reactivate your license on a different machine through your dashboard.
• License keys are non-transferable and tied to your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through our payment provider, Polar. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Polar customer portal accessible from your dashboard.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all plans. If you are not satisfied, email hello@captaincut.io within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, distribute, or resell your license key
• Reverse engineer or decompile the plugin
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or licensing restrictions

5. Limitation of Liability

Captain Cut is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to data loss or interruption of your editing workflow.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
